A large native tree with smooth grey bark. Its purple leaves change to a golden brown in the Fall. This tree will hold its' leaves all winter.
The blue beech is a slow growing tree with distinct features. Its name refers to the bluish colour to its bark that contrasts nicely with strong green leaves during the summer. Although the leaves do drop, they are held throughout the winter as an orange colour which fall off in the spring. Nice for creating winter as well as summer appeal to a yard.
